Hugo Award: ecco i vincitori dell’edizione 2020

Durante il CoNZealand 2020, in Nuova Zelanda sono stati annunciati i vincitori del 78ยฐ Annual Achievement Award for Science Fiction and Fantasy, meglio conosciuto come Hugo Award.

Il premio, intitolato a Hugo Gernsback,ย fondatore della rivistaย Amazing Stories, la prima rivista di fantascienza del mondo edita nel 1926, รจ stato conferito agli autori piรน apprezzati circa i temi di di fantascienza e fantasy.

Dopo la fine della 78ยฐ edizione degli Hugo Award sono stati rivelati i nomi degli autori piรน influenti dello stile fantasy e fantascientifico del 2020

Come di consueto per gli eventi svoltisi in questo periodo, anche l’edizione annuale per l’assegnazione dell’ambito Hugo Award agli autori di opere fantasy e fantascientifiche si รจ svolto online, nella sicurezza della propria casa. L’evento รจ stato ospitato da George RR Martin che ha annunciato i talentuosi vincitori.

Tra i premiati possiamo trovare Amal El-Mohtar e Max Gladstone, i quali hanno portato a casa il primo premio per la miglio novella con “This Is How You Lose the Time War” che ha spopolato anche ai Nebula Awards e Arkady Martine, che ha vinto il premio per il miglior romanzo conย  A Memory Called Empire.
